Welcome to Hometown History Maps! The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Hometown History Maps LLC. This website and store are operated by us and powered by Shopify to help deliver historic map products directly to you, our customers.
By using this site or placing an order, you agree to the terms below. Please read carefully, as they include important legal rights and limitations.
SECTION 1 – ACCESS & ACCOUNTS
You must be of legal age to make purchases on our site. You agree that any information you provide during checkout (such as email, address, or payment) is accurate and yours. You’re responsible for keeping your account secure.
SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS
Our products are printed to order based on digital scans of historic Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps. Every effort is made to represent each map accurately, but colors may vary slightly from screen to print. All product details are subject to change without notice.
SECTION 3 – ORDERS
Your order is accepted once we process your payment and send confirmation. We may cancel orders if needed and will notify you using the email you provide. Returns are handled according to our Refund Policy.
SECTION 4 – PRICES & BILLING
All pricing is in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to adjust pricing and promotions. Taxes and shipping may apply. You agree to provide valid billing and contact info so we can complete your order.
SECTION 5 – SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Maps are printed and shipped in sturdy tubes. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or external events. Risk of loss transfers to you upon shipment.
SECTION 6 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this site—including product names, descriptions, images, and designs—is the property of Hometown History Maps LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright law. You may not use, copy, or sell this content without written permission.
SECTION 7 – OPTIONAL TOOLS & FEATURES
Some third-party tools or links may appear on our site. They’re offered “as is,” and we’re not responsible for how they work or any consequences of using them.
SECTION 8 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Links to outside sites (including social media or payment processors) may appear. We’re not liable for anything that happens on third-party websites.
SECTION 9 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
This store is powered by Shopify. While they host our site, purchases and service are the responsibility of Hometown History Maps LLC. You agree that Shopify is not liable for anything related to your purchase from us.
