People remember spaces that feel authentic. Historic maps instantly create a stronger emotional connection because customers recognize the streets, buildings, neighborhoods, railroads, and downtowns tied to their own community.
Unlike generic wall decor, historic map art gives customers something to stop, study, point at, and talk about.
That reaction happens every day.

Turn Your Entire Space Into Local History

Many businesses display complete town map sets throughout dining rooms, hallways, bars, offices, waiting areas, gathering spaces, and entryways — allowing customers to discover a different part of town every time they visit.
Imagine guests sitting at different tables and each one seeing a different historic section of the town from 100 years ago.
- Historic downtown districts
- Old neighborhoods and homes
- Lost buildings and businesses
- Railroads and warehouses
- Main streets customers still recognize today
- The places families once walked every day
More than wall decor. A conversation piece. A connection to place.
Real Local History — Not Generic Decor
These are not recreated fantasy maps or fake vintage artwork. Every print is based on real historic maps that once documented the streets, businesses, railroads, homes, factories, and buildings of American towns and cities.
That authenticity is what makes people stop and look.

from 29 reviewsBeautiful print! My son works at Battery Park, and this gives a historical perspective on the park in 1870. His great grandfather also arrived from Sweden through Castle Garden, and so it is representative of his present environment and his family’s history. A meaningful gift!
Very nice quality. Exceptional customer service. Went above and beyond. Thank you
This was not the map I was actually looking for but rather just a map cover sheet. It was an extremely high quality print nonetheless. The seller generously offered to refund my purchase price due the content misunderstanding which was quite generous.
Beautifully printed and super fast shipping! We love it, thank you so much!
Excellent customer service after I made a purchase mistake. Great packing, fast shipping and wonderful quality!
It is a work of art as well as a font of historical informantion.I used Sanborns Fire Insurance Maps when i was trying to determine the hazard that historical activities at a property posed to surrounding properties or a potential buyer of a property.
In my case I am trying to see if my paternal grandfather worked for Waters Pierce Oil Company (WPOC) while he lived in Eagle Pass, Texas in the 1920s. Copilot said no WPOC facility existed in Eagle Pass, The SFIM clearly indicated that a WPOC facility was next to a Texaco facility adjacent to the railroad tracks in Eagle Pass in 1924.
Map was great, but as is often the case in historical research it raised new questions! And so the search continues and it’s fun!!
The maps are a great piece of history of our community when it was very young. They will be on display when our History Assoc is at events. Can't wait to hear the conversations.
Perfect for designing a historical scale model of the city!
The quality of the maps is excellent and will be a great addition to our town history.
I love it. It is great for some Town historical work I've been involved with. Question. Is there a map for anything in Essex, Virginia?
Your maps are fantastic quality.
For the past several months, I've been reading six diaries from the early 1900s that belonged to Burton Alfred Hills, a Unitarian minister who lived in Luverne, MN. On Friday, November 8, he wrote the following entry in his 1907 diary: "The three churches of this circuitmet at Luverne in Unity Church tonight for business and social hour." When I stumbled onto your website and found a Sanborn map from 1907--the very year he lived there--showing the Unity Church, I was thrilled. Sanborn maps are a great resource in looking at history. I was very impressed with the quality of the map, how it was sent in a tube, and the fact that shipping was free! Wishing you all the best!
Map came exactly as described. Love them.
